A little about me...

So...I work for a local radio station, which has allowed me to 'test' my ideas on what will work and what won't work using social media as a marketing tool.  With that said, I have made myself a fairly active Fb following both on the radio side, and personal.  I live in a rural, WI community and am by no means celebrity, when I say LOCAL radio station, I mean exactly that!  LOL!  I have tons of fun and meet tons of really cool businesses, listeners, and fans everywhere I go...even on Fb!  I personally enjoy Fb and think it has a ton to offer the world on so many levels...but I also think that there are too many folks that blindly use technology without EVER investigating the settings, privacy, or whatever.  Crazy.  Please people, check out all the customizable features that are available to you in each of the mediums that you access, whether it is Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Myspace...Whatever!  Especially if you have children that will be, or already using these social mediums, you should most definitely know how to manipulate settings to protect information.  If you have any questions about these settings, privacy setting, or anything else about Facebook or other social mediums, please post your comment, or find me on Facebook!  http://facebook.com/socialbillboard
